Dr Satendra K Jain

DR. Jain is an Environment professional with an M.Sc and Ph.D in Chemistry from University of Delhi, served the premier utility of the country for over 35 years in the field of Environmental Protection and Pollution Monitoring.

Dr Jain has retired from NTPC as General Manager- Corporate Environment Management with a demonstrated history of working in all the domains of Environment including Environmental Regulatory Developments and preparedness. He is skilled in Environment Management and Pollution Monitoring, Energy, Environmental Compliance, Environmental Sustainability, Environmental Regulatory developments; National Green Tribunals (NGT) issues and preparedness; Transparency in Pollution Real-time Monitoring; Environmental Laws (existing and likely futuristic) ; Environmental Impact Assessments; Strategy for Air Pollution Control and Water Pollution Management; Ash Management and Utilisation.

Dr. Jain is actively involved in Environmental Protection and Pollution Monitoring Policy issues, and research of the country in close association with Regulatory Agencies such CPCB, MoEF & CC, SPCBs, various committees of BIS etc. and various research institutes IITs, NEERI, CMFRI etc.
